I consider myself a 'pracademic' due to my acting background, which I have applied to my doctoral studies. I am particularly interested in the stereotypical representations of blackness and womanhood within the educational and professional sides of the Performing Arts Industry. I'm looking for opportunities to help resist those kinds of representations. I also have an interest in reframing the ideologies and representations of all marginalised groups in the industry through innovative 21st century practices. Academic CV available upon request.
